
Tsinghua University Professors in discussions with Prof. Kao

Tsinghua University Professor Yin Cunyi visited NCCU and held
discussions with Prof. Kao An-Pang, the Dean of the College of Social
Sciences, over wide ranging issues related to development experiences
of Taiwan. He commended the work done by the College of Social Sciences
at NCCU in the field of Social Sciences Education.
The professor from Tsinghua University, who visited our institute
last week, appreciated Taiwan's economic and social development
and commended the role played by Taiwanese enterprises in economic
development. Deeply concerned about the well being of the people
in Taiwan, he inquired about the current economic situation and
the role of the Taiwanese government in improving the situation.
Prof. Kao An-Pang, in the interview, said that the government of
Taiwan has taken several important policy steps to enhance the competitiveness
of the companies. Prof. Kao An-Pang also said that the companies
in Taiwan have heavily invested in managerial training and skills
development for its employees that have helped in enhancing the
human capital and thus the quality of production. In order to enhance
professionalism in large companies successor training programs are
instituted to train the potential successors in all aspects of the
company’s business.
Prof Yin Cunyi, Associate Prof. Wu Yongping, Dr. Xiu Wenqun and
Secretary Wang Peng visited as a team to interview Prof. Kao An-Pang.
