All applicants must possess a college-level education equivalent to or more than a four-year R.O.C. baccalaureate degree. The Applicant's College/University should be recognized by Taiwan's Ministry of Education. According to the National Chengchi University Regulations of Governing Foreign Student Admission:

A. The aforesaid ¡§foreign students¡¨ shall mean students of foreign nationality, neither overseas Chinese nor ROC nationals, who apply to study in Taiwan in accordance with these Regulations.

B. Those who have had dual nationality combining ROC nationality and foreign nationality may not apply for admission to schools at the senior secondary school level or higher pursuant to these Regulations until a period of eight years has passed after which they can have their ROC nationality revoked by the approval of the Ministry of the Interior.

Foreign applicants shall submit the completed Application Forms along with all other required documents within the period February 15 to April 15, 2008. In all , an application should include all of the followings¡G

  6. One photocopy of the applicant's diploma from a secondary school or a college/university (one notarized copy of the translation in English or Chinese is necessary if the original diploma is not in English or Chinese).
  7. One orignal official transcript of the applicant from a secondary school or a college/university (one notarized copy of the translation in English or Chinese is necessary if the original diploma is not in English or Chinese).
  8. Three letters of recommendation.
  9. A study plan written in Chinese or English.
  10. Documented evidence of financial support.

Foreign students: February 15 ¡Ð April 15, 2008
For Local students only: Application period is from January 8, 2008 to January 15, 2008. The Written exam date is scheduled to be on March 15, 2008. The Oral exam is scheduled onApril 20, 2008.

There are two ways for submitting the application. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
